A few weeks ago I was in Niagara Falls, NY on business. Growing up I had heard about and seen pictures/video of the water fall in that town. It’s quite famous; I’m sure everyone is familiar with Niagara Falls. My time out there was short and I was very busy. As I was driving over the bridge that spans the Niagara River, I looked to my left and saw, about half a mile away, a large cloud of mist. “Wow” I said, “there it is.” And I kept driving. To this day, I still have never seen the Niagara Falls.
Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Christ. Everyone knows that, right? Probably. But I imagine most people are so busy with “life” that they merely notice, from a distance, a faint picture of Christmas. Perhaps they’ve never been up-close, in person, with the story of Christmas. Sometimes you have to apprehend the “end” before you can comprehend the “start”. I pray you all have a faith filled month.
